Pharmacies can quickly verify electronic prescriptions through the MedSE Prescribe portal.

Verification Process

• Receive Prescription: Prescriptions appear in your pharmacy queue automatically
• Verify Authenticity: The system validates the digital signature and prescriber credentials
• Check Details: Review medication, dosage, and patient information
• Confirm Dispensing: Mark the prescription as dispensed once medication is provided

QR Code Verification

Patients may present a QR code for walk-in prescriptions. Scan the code using the portal's built-in scanner to retrieve the prescription details.

Flagged Prescriptions

The system automatically flags prescriptions that require additional review:

• Unusual dosage amounts
• Known drug interactions
• Expired prescriber credentials
• Controlled substance thresholds
