Creating a Prescription

MedSE Prescribe makes it easy to create compliant electronic prescriptions.

Step 1: Select Patient

Search for an existing patient or register a new one. Verify the patient's identity and confirm their details are up to date.

Step 2: Choose Medication

Search our comprehensive medication database:

• Search by name, brand, or active ingredient
• View dosage forms and strengths
• Check for known interactions and contraindications

Step 3: Set Dosage Instructions

Specify the complete dosage regimen:

• Dose amount and frequency
• Duration of treatment
• Special instructions for the patient
• Special instructions for the pharmacist

Step 4: Review and Sign

Review the complete prescription, then apply your digital signature. The prescription is encrypted and sent to the selected pharmacy.

Step 5: Confirmation

You will receive confirmation once the pharmacy has received the prescription. Track its status from your dashboard.
